My approach
At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for your lived experience, your strengths, and your capacity for change. I offer a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore what truly matters to you.
My counselling approach is both person-centred and solution-focused. This means our work together starts with you—your goals, your pace, your voice—and is guided by a genuine belief in your ability to create meaningful change. While I provide empathy, reflection, and gentle guidance, I also help you identify practical steps forward, drawing on your existing strengths and resources.
Whether you're navigating low self-esteem, building confidence, or working through personal challenges, I’m here to walk beside you—supporting growth, clarity, and a renewed sense of self-worth.
About me
Hi, I’m Una, a Counsellor based in Sydney, originally from Ireland. I’ve called Australia home since 2011, and I understand firsthand the complex emotions that can come with living far from your homeland—whether it’s a sense of disconnection, identity shifts, or navigating life’s challenges without your usual support network.
I work from a person-centred and solution-focused framework, meaning I’ll meet you where you’re at—with empathy and respect—and help you find practical ways forward, at your own pace. Whether you’re building confidence, working through self-esteem issues, or just need a safe space to talk, I’m here to support you.
I hold accreditation with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
